I cannot say enough good things about this place! Their staff is always cheerful and full of jokes. They have the best recommendations when you are feeling stuck on what to order. I recently became pregnant, so sushi is a no-no. To top it off, I am allergic to pineapple, so I cannot eat most teriyaki sauces. I called to ask the ingredients of their sauce and they were so quick to help and answer to make sure I would be ok. Most other places shrug me off with an "I don't know", but not here! It is safe to say that I can still enjoy their food (chicken teriyaki) until sushi is ok for me again!

We were really surprised that this place had an average star review of 4 because everything we had was not so great. I'd say maybe we ordered the 'wrong' things.. but we ordered a lot! I feel bad leaving a 2 star since the server was very nice, but it really was one of the worst Japanese food I've had in the area.
We had a Tonkotsu Ramen and the broth tasted like water, perhaps a bit saltier than water. It was like 5-10% of the flavoring that other ramen places in the area have! It was so bad.
We ordered a few sushi. I tend to judge a place by the quality of the California roll, and the CA roll needed more flavor and creaminess. The crazy roll (tuna, salmon and Hamachi), didn't taste that fresh. The French Kiss was the only one of the three rolls that was pretty good- it has unagi and soft shell crab in it, and is wrapped in a thin "omelet" which is unique; though you can't really appreciate the soft shell crab in it.
Pros were that there was no wait, it was quiet, food came out fast, and the server was nice. -

Came back again yesterday with my sister for dinner! Eddie and Hannah are always super friendly. They even know our usual order of house side salad, miso soup, French Kiss roll, Crunch roll, Philly roll and if we are spontaneous the Gigantes roll. AGAIN everything tasted amazing!!!

Came here for lunch about 30 minutes before they closed. It was pretty empty, but granted it was a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty clean.
I ordered the lunch bento with California roll and vegetable tempura. The rice in the California roll was overdone and a little wet while the tempura was a bit soggy.
My husband ordered the Rock and Roll roll and a lunch bento box with chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki. He said the roll was okay, the chicken was bland, and the beef was so-so.
The miso soup that accompanies the lunch bento box comes with lots of pieces of tofu. Taste is pretty standard.
The service wasn't too bad. The waitresses were good about clearing tables pretty quickly, but overall, the quality of the food was subpar. Wouldn't come here again.
Bonus - it's located a couple doors down from a Gong Cha, so you can get you boba fix. -

Came in looking for something healthy after leaving the gym next door. Crunch is awesome btw.
I went right to the guy sitting down by the sushi bar and told him I've $25 bucks, what's the most fish I can get in healthy dish?
He showed me the sushi salad and was so quick I had to ask, "you must be the owner?" and then knocked it out right away. I was right. LIGHTENING FAST too! I'm talking literally less than 5 minutes I was on my way. Maybe cuz I smelled
